I can't keep these two straight. No matter what I do they get mangled in my mind and ...one can see the future and one reads minds, yes? One has red hair, one has dark? Which is which? Please take pity on me...please??

Normally I don't like angst a great deal. It goes on and on and I want to smack the characters and tell them to get real! This, I like this.

Schuldig is silent, but Crawford hears the bang of a coffee mug against the counter. He hears it at two levels: the sound through the phone and the quieter sound through the closed door. This is how they operate, and Crawford doesn’t care what Schuldig does, as long as he knows everything.

Great paragraph! I'm not sure if he's being honest with himself, however.

“Like what?” Schuldig repeats, nothing between them but the door.

Crawford’s forehead is still pressed to the wood. He closes his eyes. “Something horrible."

I love, love, the door thing. It works on two levels..maybe three. I love that sort of thing! The sound of their voices through the door and on the phone....

Yum. Beautiful writing.
