Forgotten Tree: Art

As if beta and muse [livejournal.com profile] levadegratchets '  jewel-like gifts of scenes, Erestor's life caught in moments of astonishing beauty were not enough, she went one step farther and gave me the best present I have ever received in my life.  Ramie is the artist, and her vision of Glorfindel is better than my wildest imaginings.  Forgotten Tree, chapter three - Glorfindel stretched out in the water of his pool. I am too thrilled to sleep, so I will print a copy, clutch it tightly and curl up with the best gift ever, though I don't want to rumple it.

Gorgeous art here: to the still earth say: I flow

I do not have words to express my gratitude for this present.  All those who have to listen to me speak, incessantly, day and night are most likely pleased that I am shocked speechless and will start to send [livejournal.com profile] levadegratchets  their own prizes of money and good fortune.

Oh, this was a good day.  The best.  I am pouring another glass of wine and toasting you, Levade.

I am so unfamiliar with Tolkien, that it's criminal, but that is very very lovely. :-)

I still feel dizzy. Art! Art! Gorgeous art! I can't think of anything I want more than to have a scene captured by someone as skilled as Ramie. Mood, texture, koi, stars, shoulder.

Ah....Vyrl is indeed a wondrous artist, but....

My darling sibling is the glorious creature who created this.
I should have said that from the get-go...sorry!!

And I mistook Rilke for you - how's that for a compliment. I tried to keep a cool head but then I became all giddy and you were asleep and everyone in my house was asleep, there was no one to talk to, but I had to post it, so fiddled around and made wild assumptions (I'm very good at that). Now that proper attribution has been made, your sibling is incredible and I am floored.

Thank you!!!!

I've read your WK story and came lurking to your journal to see if you'd written something else. And I found this great story. I haven't read LOTR fanfiction for a while, but I really love this one. I like that it has so much, well, story. I mean, that things happen. Ugh, difficult to explain. This is also a very beautiful art and I think the story and it go well together.

P.S.: Love the church photos, too.

Hello! Trying to switch my brain from WK to LoTR almost made me blow a fuse. I hadn't touched LoTR or Silm. fic in forever but I had so much of this story already written, I didn't want to waste it. It's the first time I've posted a wip or worked so closely with a beta and I'm learning something new every chapter. I cannot tell you how pleased I am that you are keeping up with this story (and I know exactly what you mean by the story-ness because the things keeps shocking me with how much story it really wants to tell me)and I look forward to hearing your comments as it develops.

But god, I miss Schuldig. I've got a few unfinished WK stories waiting to tell me where they want to go (or to tell me where to go!) I'm going to force you to read them before they ever see the light of day so you can keep me from embarrasing myself.

The potential of new stories from you can only make me happy (and stories with Schuldig at that); I'll be sure to read them once you share them

Gagagaga. I already saw this when I was reading FT a long time ago..but seeing it again is fantastic. Glorfindel is just gorgeous and the artwork itself is a beauty. This picture is a reminder of how Glorfindel really reaaally wants to be updated so he can shag Erestor's brains out. Obviously. You can CLEARLY see his thinking process while hes washing his hair. He's deliberating on how to pounce.

I SWEAR, promise that I am half way finished with the first draft of Chapter 5 and it will be in Levade's hands by the end of the week.

If all goes well.

That illustration is the best thing I've ever seen, ever.
