Hi!
Question: How long does it take after you've edited and posted a fic to be able to re-read it without feeling like you're going to throw up?
(I'm seriously emetophobic, so typing the words 'throw up' is very hard for me, but no other phrase comes close to expressing my feelings on this matter.)

Your golf club scene is still my canon.
I post maybe 5%, maybe less, of what I write. What about you?

Now, while writing I often delete a lot/start over because I don't like things, but that's different.

But then ahpookishere would beat me with a tire iron because I haven't added to the soviet art heist story in three weeks. It's her fault.

You can always do soviet russia first even if you sign up, because kb amnesty doesn't end until next year, so there's lots of time. Plus, oh my god, I am the only person who writes porn that isn't shit like crawford/aya or yohji/aya, except for ahpook, but she only wrote hers because I kicked her into it. and hers was better than mine, bawww, shot myself in the foot there.

90% of the 95% is porn. Or I should say, porn-ish. How about this -- I'll get over my irrational fears of posting no plot and rather than kink bingo, I will post my porn.

You're really wonderful, and it has nothing to do with your Leo-ness. Some. But that's not all.

Erestor knew, as he had known throughout the age, that the sea was too large to comprehend. The place where Glorfindel’s kisses took him was too much like the sea.
.. that make my vision dim briefly, then when it returns, I'm seeing as bees do, in ultraviolet, colors that don't properly exist, and it's beautiful and feels wonderful and strange in my chest. It causes me to view the world around me a little differently, and that's the hallmark of a damn good story - you have to readjust your thinking to make room for it to stay for awhile.

Erestor is terrified of ships. I think I'm happiest with Chap.3 on and I'm sticking with it. Again, who needs plot?

As I said not that long ago in a conversation with e_p_kitty, when talking about her 164 WIPs, never to be finished because she thinks they're bad: A PERSON'S CRAP IS ANOTHER PERSON'S FERTILIZER.
Sorry for butting in. I'm aware I do this a lot.

You figure out the mystery of the sex scene and tell me how to write it. They're hard! Harder than anything (hehe) and it might be because there's a very thin line between Bad Sex Scene and Good Sex Scene and one never knows if it works until it's out there.

You're hiding away writing?? I wantssssss it. Well, maybe I'm better not reading it, because I would just compare myself and come up short. But I'd love reading your wordcraft, no matter what. Everything you write that I've read has been written by a spirit that is firmly embedded in you, because everything I've read is gorgeously evocative and descriptive and makes me despair of myself.
So there. :P
